Walkway Over Hudson River
236,880 ft2 – New York, NY
With over 750,000 visits per year, the Walkway Over the Hudson’s structural integrity is beyond important. Originally built in 1855, the bridge was used and operated as the only fixed crossing into New York City until 1924. Restoration efforts began in 1998 and the project was officially completed in 2009. RexConn provided calculations for all gusset plate stiffeners.
